There is nothing more beautiful than a simple band of metal to signify your marriage. I make a large selection of wedding rings from something very classic and simple through to wedding rings with diamonds, multiple stacking rings, to rings with a hammered texture finish.
Most of my rings begin life as strips of wire and by using the process in the film above I create unique handmade rings. The joy of my rings is that you know they have been created with love and care in my rural Herefordshire studio. A person not a machine has created the most important pieces of jewellery the majority of people own. I am always at the end of the phone (or email) for advice about sizing or refinishing at anytime now or in the future.
I also know from over 16 years of making wedding rings, how difficult it can be for clients choose the correct size. Fingers can change dramatically from cold to hot conditions and also if you are not used to wearing rings, you are more than likely to be inclined to choose a ring size that is a little too loose for you. Fear of getting rings "stuck" on your finger is often the problem that mean people opt for the safer option of it being looser. However, I'm sure almost all of us have heard stories from friends, family, or colleagues about people losing wedding rings while swimming on honeymoon. The reality is,a little handcream or soap will almost always remove a snug fitting ring, however a ring lost at the bottom of sea bed in unlikely to be worn again!
Choosing your size is a little bit of a minefield. Even if you visited five high street jewellers, it wouldn't surprise me you got a different sizing from each. Each jeweller sizes differently, each type of profile requires a different finger size, combined with narrower rings feeling larger in size than a wider ring, even though they are both the same size.
With this in mind, once clients have decided on their ring design and have chosen for me to make their rings, I will happily send them a silver sample to try, in the width and size they want. I often suggest wearing it over night and during the day, with hot and cold hands, dry and wet, so we can then use this to get the actual wedding rings the correct size. The rings can also be resized afterwards at any point too. (A small fee for postage and or time maybe charged)
The possibilities are endless but I make traditional classic wedding rings just for you in polished or brushed finishes. If you know the widths and profile rings you like, just get in touch and I can can give you prices.
