The jewellery making workshop

My jewellery making workshop is having a little facelift. Having run out of storage and needing more clean office space I decided it was time for a change. After sketching, planning, measuring and searching online for furniture I decided to order a range of shelving. The first order arrived and I put it together. I was delighted to find I still had room for a work station in the corner, so a second delivery arrived with additional worktops, bookcases, and cupboard doors. When I started put things in place I found I needed more drawers and box files so a third delivery arrived last week. I am starting to get things in place, but I'm certainly not finished.

I found planning the space to be a gradual process. I needed to work in the space before I could be sure everything is where I wanted it to be. I have moved things around, changed the order and height of things, and it is completely different to how I thought it would work when it was a sketch in my notebook.

So here's a little peek...

So far so good! Just a few more cupboards to put together and shelves to sort out. I hope to be able to add photographs of the finished space soon...
