It was my Dad’s birthday recently; here is a picture of him with his brother and sister a good few years ago. He is the boy in the middle with his socks falling down!

So, as usual, the question “what do we get him” arose. Well, over the last few years he has been growing various different types of willow, as he enjoys watching them grow.

A few months ago, my brother Andrew and his son Jack decided to have a go at basket making. A very good attempt I think!

A few months later at a craft fair I chatted to local basket maker Jenny Crisp who agreed to make my Dad a basket using his own willows. He was very surpised and delighted to see the full circle from field to basket!

I am a contemporary jewellery designer maker based in rural Herefordshire. My collection is subtle and pure incorporating clean lines and a soft finish. I pass on my skills through teaching jewellery workshops from my jewellery making studio. All designs are handmade.
