My nephew Tom wanted to make jewellery with me for sometime, and has always been fascinated by the tools when he comes in the workshop. With the summer holidays here, we set a date for a class!
Tom wanted to make a bracelet for this Mum and he designed it himself, carefully choosing colours he thought his Mum would like. Tom shaped the silver wire, soldered it (yes really – with a guiding hand from this Auntie!) hammered and polished the pieces, then we put it all together. Finally, we placed it into a box wrapped with ribbon. I watched a proud Tom disappear with the box with great speed to find his Mum! One happy customer!

I am a contemporary jewellery designer maker based in rural Herefordshire. My collection is subtle and pure incorporating clean lines and a soft finish. I pass on my skills through teaching jewellery workshops from my jewellery making studio. All designs are handmade.
